Prohibited Content & Conduct

- Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
- Targeted harassment or stalking
Sexual Content & Nudity
- Displaying nudity or engaging in sexual acts
- Sharing pornographic material
- Sexual solicitation or prostitution
- Underage users in any capacity
Illegal Activities
- Promoting illegal substances or activities
- Sharing copyrighted material without permission
- Fraud, scams, or phishing attempts
- Distributing malware or malicious software
Privacy Violations
- Recording or screenshotting conversations without consent
- Sharing personal information about others (doxxing)
- Attempting to identify or locate other users
Spam & Commercial Activity
- Advertising products or services
- Promoting other platforms or websites
- Sending unsolicited solicitations
- Using automated bots or scripts
Enforcement & Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a warning
- Temporary ban: Repeated or moderate violations result in temporary suspension (days to weeks)
- Permanent ban: Severe violations or repeated offenses lead to permanent removal from the platform
- Legal action: Illegal activities will be reported to authorities
All enforcement decisions are at our sole discretion. We strive for consistency but consider context and severity.
Reporting & Moderation
Our moderation team reviews reports 24/7. When you report someone, provide as much detail as possible. We don't notify reporters of outcomes to prevent retaliation, but rest assured every report is taken seriously.
False reports intended to harass or unjustly ban others are also prohibited and may result in penalties for the reporter.
Appeals
If you believe your account was banned in error, you may contact us via our contact form. Include your username (if any), approximate ban date, and explanation. We review appeals on a case-by-case basis but reserve the right to uphold bans.
Updates to Guidelines
These guidelines may be updated periodically to address new issues or clarify expectations. Continued use of ChatRandom after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
